About
threshold | between is a podcast exploring the transformative field of the in-between, where identities unravel, inherited stories lose their coherence, and new ways of being begin to emerge. Through conversations on the psychological, relational, cultural, and ecological realms of transformation, the podcast reflects on what it means to remain human during an era of profound rupture, transition, and world-making.
threshold | between inhabits the uncertain space between worlds: between who we were and who we are becoming, between collapse and possibility, modernity and ancestral ways of knowing, self and collective. This podcast explores the tensions, contradictions, and possibilities that emerge when different worldviews, histories, and lived realities encounter one another.
Rooted in a practice of bridge-building and deep listening, threshold | between creates space for conversations across difference, including dialogues with thinkers, artists, healers, Indigenous leaders and cultural workers whose perspectives invite new ways of relating to one another and the living world. Rather than seeking an easy resolution, the podcast honors the vulnerability and humility required to inhabit complexity and remain in relationship during times of change.
At its heart, threshold | between is an offering of accompaniment for those moving through thresholds of personal and collective transformation. This podcast invites listeners into a deeper relationship with themselves, each other, and the more-than-human world…
reminding us that no threshold is meant to be crossed alone.
Tiffany Raether, MA, is a PhD candidate in Depth Psychology with an emphasis in Community, Liberation, Indigenous, and Eco-Psychologies. Drawing from her mixed-race heritage, cross-cultural upbringing, and over a decade of learning alongside Indigenous leaders and collectives across the Americas, her work explores transformation, relationality, ecology, identity, and collective healing during times of rupture and change. Tiffany’s research and lived experience spans across living through climate disaster, decolonial psychology, systems thinking, media production, and storytelling. She also holds over 500 hours of yoga teacher and meditation training and has taught yoga and meditation for the past 10 years. Her background informs a deeply relational approach to understanding the thresholds between worlds, narratives, and ways of being. Through threshold | between, she brings together psychological insight, cultural critique, and intimate conversation to explore what becomes possible when individuals and societies move through uncertainty, fragmentation, and transformation with greater awareness and care.
